Documentary · 90'
Languages · French, English,Turkish

As winter dawns, a filmmaker sets on a six-month retreat in a hermit’s hut in the middle of a forest, cut off from the world and its means of communication. Guided by the words of four women she has filmed previously and who have all dedicated their lives to various forms of spirituality, she embarks on a mysterious inner adventure, on the borders of solitude and nature. A journey that invites us to connect ourselves to the world in a whole new way.

" Following the footsteps of four initiators, each with a unique journey and anchored like master trees in a living spirituality which finds its sap in their presence in the world, Mavet invites us to follow her on this less traveled path: the one that underlies the bark of reality and leads to the vibrant heart of being. This movie doesn't show, it IS.

Words fail to express an inner experience that is so strong, so alive and so true."
